It was a lovely Spring day at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge although quite windy. The first thing I photographed was a Redbud tree. Bees were in abundance so I grabbed a few shots before moving on to look for alligators and eagles. Luckily there was a gator at the pond below the spillway! And later, we spotted two gators in the distance from the Goose Overlook. One was HUGE! Next up was the eagle nest with Mama still incubating the eggs. She left and flew around for about 5 minutes providing nice photo ops. Later 2 juveniles flew around in the area. One was almost mature as the head was turning white which takes about 5 yrs.
